Ms. DeAnna Crites has worked within the Texas A&M University System for almost 20 years. A graduate of the Texas A&M University - Kingsville, DeAnna has had a career focused on the post-award administration of sponsored projects. At both the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Institute and at the Conrad Blucher Institute, DeAnna has helped principal investigators steward millions of dollars in grant and contract funding. DeAnna currently serves on the Council of Principal Investigators and Research Administrators and chairs the roles and responsibilities committee. DeAnna is an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators. Over the past few years, DeAnna has increased her continuing education and work experience in pre-award administration and successfully earned a Certified Research Administrator designation from the Research Administrators Certification Council.
